I have not always been into splits. Actually this is my 2. summer with a split-window beetle (but only as a project) ;( .

I have had this 1962 23 window Samba-bus. It was quite nice, but tecnically it was bad. Both the engine, brakes, electric, the welding, upcoming rust, and more.

But it was also ok to drive around in hot sommerdays.
